Repertoire![]() Brooklyn, New York - November 22, 2003 The Polish American Folk Dance Company (PAFDC) proudly received the recognition of Merit of Culture from the Republic of Poland for promoting Polish folk culture in the United States. The medal was presented to Artistic Director Daniel Dziadura by Vice Consul Andrzej Stefanczyk at the Company's 65th Anniversary Banquet at Princess Manor in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Vice Consul Stefanczyk fondly recounted PAFDC's performance at the recently sold-out Gala Concert of the 13th Festival of the Polish Folk Dance Associations of the Americas at Lincoln Center in August 2003. He praised the energy of the dancers who volunteer their time and talents to perform with the Company. The medal of honor was accompanied by a certificate of merit from the Polish government. Daniel Dziadura accepted the award on behalf of the current members of the Company and all those who had dedicated their talents in PAFDC's 65-year history. |
